Persistent fever since last 8 days (101 currently) with dry cough and some chest pain. On medication. Oxygen level - 94 By when would the fever go? Home remedies for recovery other than having kadha, gargles.

My father (age 58) had a hr ct of 5/25 about a week ago...he is on oxygen support in the hospital from past 3 days as his spO2 dropped below 89. Today he got a CT score of 17/25...is to very dangerous. I m scared please suggest
