Hello Doctor, I had covid around 2.5 months back and since then many symptoms continuoung in my body. Recently from past 5 days, I am feeling little pain in backside of one ear. How can I get rid of this pain? (One month back, I went for CT scan as well for PNS and it was fine)

I have tested positive on 19 may. And after recovering I have mild coughing problem. I don't have any other problem. So I consult my physician and doctor told that I have slightly mucus on lungs. So doctor recommended me N Acetylcysterine Effervescent tablets twice a day for one month. Doctor told me this medicine is for protection of lungs. And save my lungs from infection. Is my medicine is correct?. And when my coughing problem will be gone?
