Hello doctors !! Can I check my resting pulse rate while am lying down on the bed or the resting pulse rate is said to be the one which is checked while am sitting!? It would be helpful if any one replies ..)

Can I eat icecream if I have sore throat and a slight cough ? ??... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Hi Doctors, My name is Aman Sinha and I developed dry cough symptoms since last Tuesday. The cough worsened on Wednesday and I had mild fever (100.5 F) on Thursday and Friday. I met a doctor on Saturday morning and he prescribed Antibiotics for my symptoms. He also pointed out that my symptoms are more or less viral Flu. Is it appropriate to take antibiotics in such cases?? If I am suffering from a viral Flu, how can antibiotics help me as antibiotics are used agains bacterial diseases. Furthermore, he asked me to conduct a Typhoid test which in turn came out to be positive the CRP value is also 5.64. Now that Typhoid is positive, I assume Antibiotics is fine, but my doubt is even before the reports had come out I started taking Antibiotics. What if there was no Typhoid and it was just a viral Flu. Are the medicines appropriate?? Expecting a detailed reply.

I have used steroid eye drops post vaccination... Some of drops entered the throat will it effect vaccine efficacy??? let me know!!!

I had small accident 3 days back. And in foot I'm having road rashes so suggest any suitable antibiotic.

I am chiranjeevi 17yrs old , i have provided my blood test report , please see it and tell me do i have anemia or any other deficiency Because i am having hairfall,chest pain ,shortness in breath , i am sleeping for long time ,feeling weak , also having acne , Please tell me what to do

I am having blocked nose, chest congestion, and fever like feeling but body temeprature is normal. My spo2 level are also normal reading. Only blocked nose in left nose. Slight sore throat also. No body pain, no fever or nor cough.

My brother have dull pinch pain below left armpit for past 3 days. Pinch pain persist at night sleep as well. Pain is dull but not sharp.We checked 1 month ago for any heart problem all my reports came normal. Is there any counter medicine or onniment available to treat the pinch pain. Is this pain due to his previous diagnosed gastritis or any bacterial infection under armpit. Do we have to consult gastroenterologist or cardiologist for this problem.
