Hello doctors, We did a general test for my mother and see one of the parameter called ESR is 108mm/hour.But the range provided on report should be within 0-20 mm/ hour.Is there any issue with high ESR.

My father is 63 years old. He has high sugar and is on medications. His sugar was under control with the help of the meds. He doesn't have any bad habits like drinking or smoking. He has had hearing issues since 1.5 years. He complained about feeling dizzy since 2 months and having a bad smell whenever he feels dizzy. It lasts for about 2 mins. No fever or cold or anything. Today he had some strange thoughts accompanied with dizziness and bad smell. We checked his sugar level 45 mins after having a cup of chick peas and it was 250 and his BP is normal (130/80). I would like to know why he is feeling all this. Please let me know what the reason could be and whom we should further consult in case of treatment.. please don't tell me to consult online since we prefer going to hospital in person. I would really appreciate your help doctors.

I went for a blood test today, and got the report. In the report, I found that "Total Leukocyte Count" and "Total Red Blood Cell Count" are high and "Basophils" count is low. Could you please tell me what would be the reasons for not having those count values normal? Do they signify anything? If yes what should be the actions to be taken? Thank you for your time!

Since past 3 years I suffer from symptoms that are found in angina.chest pressure, left arm pain (sometimes independent of chest pain). No sweating or dizziness. Just standing for two minutes or walking around my home can you give me pressure. If I eat a heavy meal my heart rate increases and same pressure. Problem sometimes occur at rest with no trigger. Seen by 4 cardio in 2 years- ecg, echo, stress echo, lipids, sugar- all perfect. They think it's from stomach n give antacids but no relief still. Stomach ultrasound normal. my family doc says that's it's a psychosomatic pain n difficult to cure. Any second opinion plz? No idea what to do

Hi, I've had my ear pierced today and I am afraid that it might get infected. No symptoms of infection but I am anxious. Is there any way to prevent an infection from happening? Can I use any antibiotic for a few days just to be sure? If yes, please suggest one. Thank you!
