My father aged 77, is facing this problem. Whenever he gets up from chair or sleep he feels dizzy and falls down. However this dizziness does not occur when he is walking or sitting. I guess he is suffering from orthostatic hypotension. Daily he takes the following medicine: 1) Syndopa plus - With symptoms like unbalanced walk and micrographia. Now after medication his walking has become normal. No trembling at all. 2) Ecosprin 150 - blood thinner ( bypass heart surgery happened around 20 years ago) 3) Rapilif 8 mg - prostate 4) Losar H - blood pressure 6) Stemlo 10 - blood pressure 7) Atorva Lifestyle - he leads a sedentary lifestyle. No activity at all. Drinks very less water. What should he do to overcome orthostatic hypotension. His vision is fine. Doesn't get the feeling vomiting

Respected doctors, These are my attached reports from March 2023. I just want to say that I'm now quitting alcohol, starting liver detox. My question is whether I should get my blood test now as I'm consuming alcohol regularly since March or should I wait for another 3 weeks to get tested and get tested as I'm quitting the same from today onwards . As I feel if I get tested now then obviously results will be bad only . Please advise. Thanks

From yesterday my mothers feels swelling in her both legs, when she stands for a long time while working in kitchen, swelling comes down when she rest the legs by sitting down. She is 52 years aged, and she does not have any bp, sugar or any other disease till now. Her random sugar are in normal range (as tested in glucose strip machine). Is the swelling in legs are serious?
