Hello Doctors, I had taken my Hepatitis B vaccination in 1999, Engerix B with the schedule 0,1,2 and a booster after 12 months. Also, one booster after 8 years in 2008. How long does the protection remain effective? I had a blood test taken yesterday and even though syringe was new, the way they handle everyone isn't very hygienic. Am I at risk of contracting hepatitis B since it's been 24 years since I had started my vaccination. If one suspects a risk does he have to take booster within 24 hours or can do so upto 48 hours too? I had taken one booster in September, 2021 due to a similar incident, where a compounder touched a bin where used cottons were thrown while administering injection.

Sir ,one question...In previous Saturday..I check my Weight is 74.6 kg and After that I walk around 6 days ..in 20 mins...and In a week i have cold and fever , uti , and Gastric all issue..Now my weight 73.9 kg ..Sir..is ok..or any issue  like Weight fall down 700 gm...any issue..

Hello,I've been having fever since 15th Dec..Somedays temperature touches 100°F and above,sometimes it remains below 100   (99.6-99.7°F),but since last 15 days,there is daily rise in temperature,sometimes accompanied by headache(mostly) Despite taking Dolo,fever comes.. Urine routine +Urine Culture Sensitivity report negative Please check the reports and help

My friend(male-29yrs) goes to gym daily. On Friday i.e 12-01-2024 he was doing half sit ups on his ankles without weight, suddenly he got pain in his left leg and left hip so he stopped doing it. Now after 2 days also he has pain in his left hip and leg while sitting and standing but pain remains for 1-2mins after that it becomes normal. Please suggest what to do? Is he having any kind of injury or pain will go after some days?

I had my tests done and have vitamin b12 deficiency pls prescribe bethox injections. As they only help me to recover.

Please review my test reports and recommend which speciality to consult first as my further course of action.

Hello All, My baby is 17 days old and she is having jaundice and she got admitted twice in hospital and took phototherapy. When she was admitted that time bilirubin was 23.6 and 20.5 both time discharge it was 14.55 and 11.85. She discharged on 13th Jan today followup was there and TCB came 18.1 again. We have expended more than lac rs. But no result. All liver, crp c reactive reports are normal they gave done twice. Please help me where we are missing. Why her jaundice is increasing. Please help 🙏 😢

I have seen many terms with doctors name like md,dm etc... But seen pdf written after dm. What does it mean ? Searched a lot but unable to get. There were four doctors in the department and only one mentioned it. So it's making me curious to know. Please explain.

Whenever she eats something which is not even spicy, she feels too much spice on her tongue and unable to eat without a cup of water. Is there any medicine which can help

Visble swelling above both eyes. Noticed them recently. I am a thyroid patient and also drink and smoke on frequent basis. Kindly let me know why area above my eyes is swollen. Attaching pic for your ref.
