My mom is 57 has detected cataract in left eye almost 80%,right eye just started. So have to undergo surgery this month end. Just for quiry wanted to know about eye drops dissolving cataract.

My father gone under surgery for benign tumour on his right cheek ..Since then he complained about decreased vision in his both eyes ..3 months now..Left eye got a layorlike thing ..Blurred vision day-by-day

I got my eyes checked for power due to constant headache At first clinic i got following observation R= - o.5D axis- 105 degree L = - 0.25D axis 85 degree At other clinic i got R= -0.5D axis-105 degree L= -0.25 axis- 75 degree So my doubt is which one should i opt for preparing glasses.

Although PVD is an oldage disease,my doctors told me myopia can sometimes accelerate it in late twenties though its rare. He told me if im not seeing flashes very frequently i will be fine and PVD happens to everyone and is a part of aging. My question is 5 months have past with not much disturbance. Should not the process be over by now. I have read it only takes a few weeks though who am i to know anything about opthalmic anatomy and physiology. Am i still under some risk of retinal pathology. If yes then what. I still face minor discomfort now and then and freak out immediately, even though they dont seem.like flashing. Can someone tell me that how long does it take for PVD to run its course and the condition to stabilize. Will i forever live under the risk of flashing and retinal tears. Im scared all the time, keeping eyes closed whenever i can given i am a software professional. What am i gonna do, im just 26 with -2 power. PLEASE PLEASE HELP, IM GOING PSYCHOTIC...

Initially red eyes post that upper eyelid has swollen.Can i use ciplox eye drops to treat it. Is ciplox eye drops safe during breastfeeding?

I have floaters and i am 26. My doctors havr diagnosed me with PVD in March this year with nothing else after dilated exam. They have asked me to come back if I see flashes of light or lightening in vision too frequently. Although I only experienced something similar once or may be twice, but I am not sure. However, i was looking at the ceiling and was lost in thought when i saw a small white dot appear and float upward. Very very tiny white dot, it floated upward and then disappeared. Can it be considered flashing ??? Should i be concerned

How would a patient understand if there is a hole in the retina. I know flashes are a symptom but they can occur even in case of traction. Can anyone explain some unmistakable trigger so that one can understand they might have a tear or a hole??? Or how to recognize the symptom

I have cyst in left eye at upper eyelid due to it pain and swelling and redness in eye. It is happening from last 3-4 month periodically. In right eye total 11 such cases happened. Now in left eye it is 4 th time

My age is 42 and eyesight is poor. Is LASIK laser possible at this age?? I don't want to put glasses onto my eyes at all.
