My kid of 10 years had inguinal hernia surgery a week ago and now he is complaining vision loss of far objects, he is not able to read words which are small and at far distance. Near vision is ok. Is it because of his surgery. Can someone please guide.

Hi, My brother got a bruise recently near his eye due to which his eye swelled up which is making it hard to open it wide. Also there's this fluid discharging from it. Please let me know what is it and what can be done? Images attached.

I found that with -.25 power one can easily read the 6/6 line. While with the same power one has 6/9 vision... What is the main cause of such difference???

Previously i asked what time it takes for the process of PVD to completely manifest. I have a related question. As per definition, posterior vitreous detachment is vitreous chamber detaching from the retinal surface. A doctor told me it takes  a few weeks, 4 at tops. For someome with mild myopia that got early onset PVD at mid twenties, how long does the process of detaching from the retina take? A month? 6? A year??? would be amazing if you could help me with a tentative timeframe.

Replied To Dr.Prachi Parmar Thanks a lot for the reply doctor 🙏🙏 You told my dad might be having Binocular diplopia.Is it serious problem,whether it has anything to do with nervous system or brain.Because I read few things about Binocular diplopia in internet.He's not having headache and any other symptoms.Just like that double vision started today morning Please clear my doubts..We are really worried and tensed.. He told have any other issues/disease

Hello doctor..I have long distance problem..I m wearing contact lenses for the past 5 years..my power is -2.25 for both the eyes..is there any treatment to improve my eyesight and get rid of contact lenses..thanks in advance..

Respected doctor's From today morning my dad is having double vision of distance object.while closing either eyes the double vision goes away(Binocular diplomia??).He doesn't have any other history of diseases or symptoms.will it be a temporary issue.His age is 56.if it's temporary problem how long will it take to cure.When he needs to see a eye specialist?? I have faced this issue a couple times. Its like a temporary darkness in vision, it starts but before it can complete the whole vision i blink and it goes away. The vision is normal and crystal clear and it happens for a milisecond. I am not sure whether it happens in one eye or both eyes, only happens twice or thrice to me, mostly when im too tired or too stressed. What is this, i do have floaters but no flashing as such ever encountered. May be just once or twice. I do had a detailed check up in april, retina was fine. I am due another check up thus Friday, but im just freaking out, so thought of asking the good doctors here. Please help.
