Bilaterally prolonged latency of P100

Hi Team - Got VEP test done for my father in-law basis one doctor suggestion as he was suspecting catract in both eyes and the report says " The letency of p-100 is prolonged on both the sides (right 149.75 ms n left 145 ms) ". How do I interpret this and is this something serious to be considered. And what is the treatment for this !

I went for a dilated eye test after having seen floaters for the first time, the doctor examined and said there is no cause to worry but said to follow up on Saturday for confirmation. Eye and head pain after usage of phone.
