Am 25 and planning for refractive surgery here is my report am I eligible for refractive surgery should i go for it how much time need for complete recovery if i go for contura/silk

Is it okay to wear contact lenses on daily basis? I have -2.5 eyesight. I wear them daily for my office and my number is not very stable it changes after couple of years.

Hi, I got barrage laser done for retinal holes 2 weeks back in both eyes. After that I got an allergic infection which was treated but doctor noticed my one pupil is slightly more dilated than other, but she suggested to wait it out. Yesterday i got the retina checked again so was dilated. Retina and everything looks good. Doctor said pupil will return in 6 hours this time. But again its bigger in one same eye than the other. What can be the reason that my pupil is not returning to original? Is it a serious issue?  should I get it checked again? Please let me know as I'm really worried to this weird thing. Thank you!

My Mother is feeling flickering sensation in left eye since many days sometimes few times a day or sometimes in 2 or 3 days. Her eye is doesn't actually flicker but she feels the sensation.

I had LASIK on 23 December 2024. Recovery was good but i have been facing severe dryness and mild pain in my eyes for the last 5 days. Eyes are not red, but the artificial tears (using Hysodew) are not helping at all. What could be the reason.

Currently I'm wearing glasses with power: SPH: -5:00 CYL: -1.25 Axis: 180. I want to use B&L contact lens for the first time. On their website the equivalent contact lens power should be: SPH: -4.75 CYL: -1.25 Axis: 180, but in the shop from where I am ordering the contact lenses from is saying that this power should be: SPH: -4.75 CYL: -0.75 Axis: 180. How much difference is there between CYL -1.25 and -0.75 in case of visibility when it comes to contact lens? Should I go with the shop's recommendation of Cyl: -0.75 or ask them to give me Cyl -1.25?

My son is 6 years old and has weight of 22kgs. His left eye got redness in it and has got a layer in the lower part of his iris since three days. He says that he has itching too in that eye. We consulted a ophthalmologist who prescribed us LOTECHEK drops but the issue has not yet resolved. I have googled my son's symptoms and came across a word called ARCUS JUVENILES. I have attached his eye pictures to this question. Please go through it and do let me know.. i am Very worried . Thank you.

Can I use trehalube eye drop as frequently as possible??? After 2 months of  smile pro surgery, doctor advised to use 6 times a day ... I was using it as frequently as I need . Will it create any side effect ??? Pl advise

I have suffered from food poisoning and vomited multiple times which feels like my organs will come out, after vomiting that my right eye became red and a white thing appeared near the cornea which makes vision a little blur when I close my one eye. I want to know what happened and will it disappear automatically or not?
