Wanted to buy progressive lenses for 65 year old mother. Do not want to use bifocal lenses. Can we prefer progressive lenses with 50 % visibility.. please advise, sales people recommended adding UV coats, anti reflection, anti scratches, etc.. will adding these coats help. Also, patient has been informed of early cataract symptoms and surgery not recommended now.. pls advise on the glass options

You may buy progressive glasses for your mother but she should spend some extra time for setting glasses.

Hello If your mother is exposed to uv light daily then adding uv filter is recommended. If she is. Homemaker nd spends time at home then uv filter, antiglare is just waste of money

Yes you can use progressive glasses for your mother , it will take some time to get adopt with this type of glasses, once get adopted she will be more comfortable..
