Progressive Lens wearing required???
I had cylindrical lens power -2.0 in the right and left eyes beofee 2 years.. now when I checked.. with hospital near vision also +1.0 both they eyes added.. and far vision -2.25 with both the eyes added.. what should u do now.. near vision i don't see much difference.. but doctor told u have power +1.0 both the eyes u need to wear progresive lens.. what should I do now sir.. kindly give me suggestions.. wearing progressive Lens will it get adjusted or not.. will it take time.. should I avoid the near power.. i am little bit confused.. i have checked with other local shops also.. they also told near power started asy age is 40 u need to wear or else it wil increase.. please suggest.. i don't what to do i am little bit anxious regarding this... :( :( :(

Hello Person can get near vision glass anytime around 40 If you are facing too much difficulty in near activity without additional near correction then it is always better to wear it as it will keep your eye relax and facilitate your work. As you are having cylinder numbers you need to make special glasses , over the counter near correction glasses won’t help you. Before going for progressive glasses , try simple straight bifocal or separate glasses for near and distance and once you get habituated with that ..then go for for progressive as they are more costly and tricky to use You can come for consultation if you want as I have other options for glasses even at your age ..but for that I need to check your eyes personally

As you are having cylinder power,it is advisable to add near power and use the glass.you can use bi focal, or progressive lenses.it will take time to adjust.pl consult online with all the reports and treatment taken.
