My dad was diagnosed with glaucoma, As of now the doctors have prescribed eye drops and they say the condition is stable now. My question: will the eye sight remain the same life long if the condition is stable ? Or it will decrease the sight gradually resulting in non visibility ?

Eye sight problem

Is there any way to improve eye sight? The power of my glasses has increased to -1.25 from -0.5. I always feel a burning sensation in my eyes. Glasses are fine but isn't there any other way apart from glasses which permanently improve it? Pls suggest.
