Is this possible That one has exotropic strabismus since the age of 4 but has no Amblyopia... ??

Is it possible that an ADULT strabismic amblyopia patient aged 25 yr continuously lossing vision in affected eye with growing age ?? What things an ADULT strabismic amblyopia patient must take care to prevent further vision loss in affected eye...help plz...Thank you...
