Hi . I had gone to the eye doctor to get my prescription updated . Now my number has decreased but I've been told to use the same prescription I am now . So stable number . However the doctors didn't do a funduscopy . The one where they look at the eyes with a torch. Perhaps they felt like it wasn't needed ? Should I go back and request them to do a general un dilated eye check up?

Hi . I have a question to ask . My friend yesterday had rainwater go into his eyes a drop or so while wearing contacts . Since this is the first time it had happened to him he removed them immediately by cleaning his hands with a sanitiser and removing them and dosvatdeded them forever . He wants to know if this happens next time should removal be done immediately or can he wait so he can go back home and remove them ? Is there a risk of amoeba keratitis in the second scenario ?

Hi, Am a working professional, every night I feel sleepy before 10pm, but when I try to sleep I will not be able to sleep, I will be thinking about my work, usally I won't get sleep till 2am and automatically I wake up at 7am, even after waking up I will be thinking about my work, not been able to sleep for 8 hours, and also I have dark circle around my eyes may be because of this on going issue, kindly suggest how to get 8 hours of nice sleep. I recently had headache on side and eye pain, I got my eyes checked and my vision was not perfect 6/6 I couldn't see the last second line at the chart. He said that my power was increased and I have to wear -0.5 glasses. I want to know if that's just reversible spasm of accommodative or something serious.

Recently my left eye number has been increased from 1.7 to 3.0 directly and from past one week only my headache started and have changed my spects number too. Is this because of change in number or something else. I am feeling very heavy head and how much time it will take to recover.

Hey. According to my cornea topography, my cornea thickness has changed in a year from 560 to 541, similarly for other points around the circumference, and increased from 543 to 548 at the centre. Similarly for the other eye as well. The power has not chnaged. Is it safe to go for lasik?
