Hello Doc, From last 20 days my left side of my left eye has got red. I have tried many home remedies like cold water showering in eyes, eye drops but its all in vain. Also it gets more itchy and dark red in the evening. Please let me know causes and remedies.

I am hyper myopic and have currently distance and near vision in both eyes. 15years back I got clear lens surgery and my vision was corrected back then. After some time I got both positive and negative number in both eyes. Question: Is this ok to swim in chlorine treated water as sometime back when I went inside the water, I got small floaters in both of my eyes which got cleared after a course of eye drops.

I have been facing right eye lower lid twitching for past 2 weeks. Sometimes it gets stop sometimes it gets start How to cure it?

Hi, I want to ask is 1% Carboxymethylcellulose better than 0.5%? I have 10-12 hours of screen exposure daily so please suggest either 1% or 0.5% is better. Also, what is the meaning of liquigel which is there is name of 1% Carboxymethylcellulose eye drops. Thanks.

For the last 4 5 days my left eye are very red when I wakeup in the morning . It has become a more redder today and hurting a little. What's the cause

Hi, For my family needs I require 2 eye drops - HY-5 and Refresh Liquigel. I saw on internet that there's an alternative for both of them sold by zeelab pharmacy and there is a lot of price difference as follows - 1) HY-5 - cost Rs. 120, zeelab alternative "zeemoist" which costs Rs. 75. 2) Refresh Liquigel - costs Rs 180, zeelab alternative "hypermist 1%" which costs only Rs. 16. Is it safe to use zeelab's medicines? How are they able to sell same salts with such huge difference, is there anything wrong? Thanks.

My father has been diagnosed with herpes zoster. He has blisters around his eyes, forehead and scalp. Though the physician said that his eyes are fine and he should visit eye specialist only in case he does not feel good but I am concerned and want to know if there is any issue with his eye. There is swelling around his right eye and its watery as well and some blisters also. He has started taking anti viral medication. But please let me know if there is anything not okay. Also please help on whether herpes zoster is contagious if I have had chicken pox last year. I've to take care of him. Please help

Hello Everyone, My twin babies were born before time at 31 weeks of gestation. Initially at 34 weeks both have zone 2 , stage 2 Rop. and then on 36 week screening one of the baby  diagnosed with Ap-rop and anti-vegf injection was given. But after that both shows some regeression in stage and zone vascularization gradually improved. And now at 47 weeks of gestation one baby has zone 3 vascularized stage 1 and doctor said only 2 clock hours left to vascularized. For the other baby who have gone through anti-vegf get one eye fully vascularized and other eye left with 2-3 clock hours in zone 3 with stage 1-2. Please suggest if we can just keep an follow up until complete vascularization or we might need laser. ?
