Is it possible to go for pancreas transplant for type 1 diabetes. Right now his blood sugar levels are normal.. In order to avoid injection, thinking to go for pancreas transplant.. Pls suggest is it good to go for this.

She is using some medicines for BP but doesnot shows any result. She is also the patient of diabetes and thyroid is in starting stage.

My mother age 60 has diabetes and high blood pressure. She had successful knee replacement surgery two years ago. But after the surgery she loss weight upto 10 to 15 kg instantly and having complain of consuming food. Her diabetes is in normal range and bp is also normal we had made all the necessary blood test including cancer and thyroid but blood test is normal. So what can we do for her food consumption and weigh loss?

My TSH level is 6.8 but my doctor doesn't want to give me medication because she thinks I'm too young (I'm 20). What should I do?

Dr Hope u r fine. Am diabetic 2 for 7 yrs age 50yrs old. On duotrol twice daily . FBS 6.5--8 and random 9-12. Last my dr changed me to glimeperide 4mg once and piosafe 15/500 twice But sugar level is higher than on duotrol. Pse advise.

Actually,My father is drunk and he have both diabetes and Blood pressure.So wanted the suggestion which would be the best medicines for him to make it control because he is already taking GMM 1 and Inditel 40 mg both for corresponding disease. So please if you could help us with better suggestion for it it could be better. Because i don't think that those tablets are working properly .Thank you.

I took 1 whole humogan pen at 1pm today then 1 whole lantus pen at 3pm today I keep going through low drops as low as 45 blood sugar reading I shove lots of food down and soda and it gets up to about 70 then drops back down my current reading is 54 and I insulin intake was 5 hours ago.. I'm non diabetic what should I do

What all fruits can my diabetic father have? last I checked his sugar was 161. his last doctor restricted on many fruits that as per online information as not restricted. please advise.
