Hi I am  having diabetic and cholesterol  Total cholesterol 200 My triglycerides  is 300 and h1bac is 6.8 Is any precautions I need to take in kedarnath trip My iron is also low plz guide

I have been suffering from diabetes for more than 2 years. My first Hba1c was 7.5% and then progressively decline to 5.7%. But last two test report shows 6.4 and 6.2% respectively. I am taking metformin 500 twice a day. Restricted the food amount. Eating loads of fruits, vegetables, Ragi, sugar free foods, Bajra. However, it's coming under 6%. Exercise amount quite low for me. Due to bad weather, I can't go outside always. So, it hampers the physical activity. I joined swimming classes and completed it. But I couldn't continue it due to rainy days. Kindly suggest what to do.

My hba1c on may was 5.7 which was prediabetes, while fasting and normal sugar was in the normal range. Should I test once again hba1c ? is this test a good indicator of blood sugar?
