Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Hello, Every morning for the last 4-5 days, my right ear is blocked when I wake up but is fine for the rest of the day. Little movement in jaw and the ear opens a bit just like the ear gets blocked when in airplane. Anything serious? Regards

I use to smoke 4-5 cig per day since 4 yrs and last month I had a breathing issue where I had shortness of breath. Normally I had continuous cough since a year. I have left smoking since then (almost 7 weeks now) and I still have very small cough at times. Still I have this shortness of breath and I feel something stuck in my throat. What can be the issue? My father although does not feel any pain in that but its size has become bigger. I and my father both doesn't know what is it. He did not take any medical treatment initially. What to do?
