Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

My ear has been paining from two days, it feels heavy mainly in the inner lobe. The pain started all of a sudden in the morning. I consulted with my office doctor, he suggested that it might be because of infection, even though he is not sure why it started all of a sudden. I've also had cold and cough from 3 days . He has prescribed combiflam, montair, augmentin and zinetac I've been using them from yesterday night, the pain reduces for some time, but starts again

I have a running nose i first felt feverish and then i felt ok but i have sputum with little blood i also have throat pain

My mom has external otitisfor 3 weeks now, so the Dr put ear wick again yesterday( Friday) but this time it was not well inserted(we can see big part of it) and has blood. I called him to make sure nothing wrong. He said she should keep it and put the drops on it til next visit Wednesday. Should live it even if it has blood? And even if we can see a big part of it out of the ear? Please help. Thank you.
