Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I had fever induced body ache, nasal congestion since last 3 days. Popped a Crocin to get rid of the fever. However I have noticed that my mucus is yellow and has spots of blood so does the phlegm. Also my throat is also starting feel a little sore since today. Been using saline gargles and hot lemon and ginger tea to make it better. I have been trying to avoid the antiboitics. Had a consultation today, doctor prescribed a dosage of cefpodoxine tabs, delcon tab, neoloridin rabitab & a probiotic capsule velgut. I want a second opinion. Or should I go ahead a take the antibiotic course. I was hoping to let the cold run its course in order avoid the antibiotics however the blood spots with the mucus got me concerned. Kindly advise.

I've had chest congestion and blocked nose for almost 10 days now. It is recurring, some days it becomes better and others it is quite bad I don't have fever or sore throat Just a lot of congestion

Hello, I have tinnitus problem in my Left ear for last 20 years. I have managed to live with it. Due to narrow ear cannal, I had undergone a surgery in my Left ear to expand ear cannal in year 2011. For some time after the surgery my hearing improved, but gradually after an year or so it again became bad. I have mixed moderate hearing loss in my Left ear. My primary hearing ear has always been the right year. From past some time, I have started getting tinnitus in my right ear as well, and this is causing a great disturbance to me. I have seen a few doctors, but none has been able to cure this problem. Now I have reached a doc in Apollo hospital and he suggested PAT and other tests to me. After getting those done, he has asked me to go for Electrocochleogram. As this is not a normal test, I wanted to know what would be the use of getting this test done. I have attached my audiometry test done recently and an year back. please suggest if i am on right track of treatment. thanks.

My nose is blocked since 10 days...earlier i had throat infected but it is now curer by having antibiotic.

I had a hearing test done 8 days after I was diagnosed with acute otitis media. I had bilateral moderate mixed hearing loss. Infection subsided in 14 days from the day of diagnosis. I got another hearing test done after 3 weeks from the day of diagnosis and it showed bilateral minimal conductive hearing loss. How is it possible? My doctor says I'm having tinnitus due to negative ETD. As I yawn or swallow, I hear loud crackling noise from my left ear. What's the solution?

I am having cough from last 2 months...on 15 October I was having cold,cough n fever.Doxtor gave me medicine....but cough still persists...I already took lot of antibiotics n cough syrup also.Also took opinion from ENT specialist ....but the cough is still there.Even I tried a lot of home remedies...plz help
