Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

I perforated my eardrum about six years ago, and I have had a ringing in my ear ever since. I had a small skull fracture, but I never went and did anything about it. I have been reading online that some perforations never heal and require surgery. If mine hasn't healed, and there is still a small hole, could surgery potentially cure my tinnitus?

Shown to ENT specialist at Manipal hospital, Old Airport road...she performed thorough checks in both ears...undergone hearing test also... Hearing is normal...she told there is no treatment for tinnitus and no medicine.....have a hearing test every six months...kindly help me...i can't bear the sound in the ears...is this cureable or not...

Before three months THS is 150 after talking medication of thyronom 75mg now it is in control 0.52 so should I countinue with same dosage or can I reduce it to 50 or 25 mg ..
