My baby 4 years old was Suffering from allergic cough since 2 months ...but now cough subsided little  I visited to pediatrician ,he prescribed - RND KAST - LS levocetrizine with montekulast syrup to continue for 3 months ... Is it necessary to continue it for 3 months ?

Hi, My 8 month old has stopped breastfeeding by himself. He cries at midnight during sleep, but he is not latching to my breast. He simply cries and then sleeps on my lap.sometimes he wakes up, plays for sometime and sleeps himself. Is it necessary to feed some food at midnight. My Mom tells me to bottle feed formula milk. My son had been on exclusive breastfeeding and has never had formula milk before. Please advise. Is there any alternate option.
