My son age 6 has been having tummy aches and vomiting for the past 3 days he will be ok and then go right back to feeling sick also he says he has pain in his tummy and chest area we have battled tummy pain befor and it was just shruged off by our doctor as bowel back up and has been given laxative now we are back with vomiting as well no fever at all and some what lethargic at times he is not him self what's wrong with my baby !

My son has been suffering from Fever, Cough & Cold for the last 4 days. His fever is under control after starting Amoxycillin. But he has persistent cough with solidified phlegm that doesn't seem to come out. As per his Paediatrician's advice, we took a Chest X-RAY today that revealed phlegm in the lower part of his lungs. Now, his Paediatrician is advising him to get admitted to the Hospital so that medicines to loosen and clear the phlegm could be administered intravenously for 3 to 5 days. But we would like to get a second opinion before deciding to admit him. Can other options like Nebulizer, Inhaler etc be tried? Appreciate your advice and help. Thanks
