Child Health Issues

Hello doctor, my son is 8 months old and he has this rash all over the body including genitals, around the eyes. Very dense on the stomach and the back of neck. Its all over the body. We visited pediatrician two days ago and at that time it was not this much widespread. Now it is increased. Doctor said it could be allergy and  gave anti histamine drops and topical cream for itching. Baby did not get fever. It appears itchy. Most itchy in the night. What could be the problem? Today is the third day.

My 6.5 months old baby girl has not pooped in 4 days. She had cold and mild fever. Hence was taking medicine (calpol and cetricine). She used to poop once in 2 days after we started with solids (ragi). She has not done a potty for last four days. Is this something to worry? Any medication to be given?

My baby is 9 months old having phigma and she also had cough and a cold. Doctor suggested levolin and ominocortil syrups. Is it fine to give levolin for 9 months baby?

Hello When my baby cries he does not get consoled by us. He gets consoled mostly by sounds. We have to open the tap or bang the door or something like that. He stops with that. He is currently 10 months old. Is that normal?

My baby had rashes and my FIL keeps on insisting putting few betadine drop on cotton soaked in water and apply on rashes. Is it ok to put betadine on baby's skin on rashes ?

Hi, Doctor has prescribed Ascoril LS syrup 3 ml 3 times daily for 5 days for 7 months 10kg weight, Ascoril LS is for adults so still can I give it to the baby? or, Give Ascoril LS drops 1ml thrice for 5 days? No other medication is being given. Thanks.

Hi Dr My doctor has suggested to keep rock salt for 3 days for umbilical granuloma and it's been 10days I still see little watery discharge and the belly looks like this (please see the attached image) should I still have to continue the rock salt treatment or will it be cured.. please help me here

My baby 26 days old.his tommy swelled because of gas.we done with scan everything normal and some gas loops found.motion and urine also normal.but baby crying and suffering with gas.is there any problem with with swelled Tommy. Please reply. Thank you
