My son is going to complete 4 months in a few days. I'm wondering when to start solids as I have to resume work in a month. He has been exclusively breastfed till now and has rejected the bottle when tried to give formula a few times when I wasn't keeping well. Is it better to continue breastfeeding for 2 more months and then slowly introduce solids or start solids once a day now for a month so that it will be easier to transition once I resume work? Also, what would be the best food to start with? My mom is suggesting Ragi - a powdered form that will be cooked into a semi solid (batter like consistency) porridge.
