3 month old baby having Cough from atleast 1 month and then after test he is suffering from pneumonia so after that he is admitted to hospital

My baby is only on breastmilk 4.5 months old. She had diarrhea and later on detected with lactose intolerance. Doctor gave neo smile drops for 2-3 days and zinc drops one time a day for 10 days. There was no improvement in Condition so doctor suggested to give zinc 2 times a day for 20 days. Now 12 days have finished very less improvement is there. My question 1) can i continue neosmile drops also 2) will eliminating dairy products from my food help? I dont want to start lactose free milk. Pls
