My son having dry cough from past 25 days . Night sleep more cough tried mucolite, histafree, montairLc, chericof but no relief. What to do . Showing local doctor saying normal viral infection but why medicine is not working...or which medicine should I give him to stop cough

My son will turn 2month old on 15/11 He has been feeding every 2-3hours by getting up on his own. Previously he used to latch and feed for upto 1hour. Now a days he just feeds for 15-30mins. Is it normal? His urine and stool pass is normal.

The doctor has prescribed Xyloflo nasal drops (1 drop in each nostril, morning and evening) and Delcon drops (10 drops, three times a day). Are these medications safe?
