Hello doctor... Kindly helpe on this. My baby was born on 3rd of Jan and he was very healthy and gaining weight till 5th month. He got fever in the 5th month after that he started reducing weight and not eating properly. I feel my bm is also reduced. Our doc said he is fine but as a mother i feel he is not ok. My daughter is 4 months old and her weight is 5.3kg (birth weight was 2..86). Due to phototherapy treatment in the beginning she didn't gain much weight and after 2 months of her birth she started sleeping long hours at night so didn't feed her much during night time that also caused her slow in gaining the weight. As I got to know the cause since then I started feeding her properly over night time by waking her up in middle of the sleep. 3 to 4th month she gained 750gm of weight. But now doctor has suggested to give zincovit drop 0.5ml per day, my concern is does it really required for my baby? As I believe in natural process in babies growth. Please suggest.
