My baby is 2.5 months old. She had slight blood in motion 20days back. She was given taxim-o for 5 days. Then there was no blood seen for 15days. Now from last 2 days again there is blood everytime she passes motion and it is increasing. I am on complete dairy free diet from 20days. From last one day, we have stopped breastfeeding and giving her aptamil pepti formula suspecting that something from my diet might have caused this. Also she has not gained any weight since 10days. A part of my son's umbilical cord came off in 3 days but it was still attached to his belly button which was checked by his pediatrician who said that it was fine. Remaining part of it dried and came off without any issue and only a slight bit was left. I saw some bleeding in his belly button today and also a layer of dried blood on his belly button. He is 18 days old. What can be done in this case. We have kept the area completely dry since his birth.
