During typhoid, our pediatrician asked us to stop giving non-veg to our 3.5 yr old daughter. Now she is alright. Can we restart giving non-veg to her?

My 8.5 months old son is not consuming any kind of food. I mean we tried everything like homemade (both liquids & solids), fruits, tiffins(mashed idly etc.., ) and readymade foods also. But he doesn't swallow anything. Currently we are feeding him forcefully. He likes only to have his mother feed. Except that, he doesn't like any other foods. Now even his mother feed is very much reduced. So how shall we train him?
