Child Health Issues

My 5 year kid got COVID a month back. She vomited, had fever around 102 for 1 day. The pediatrician gave levoofloxin, vomikind, spasorix, ibrufen medicines for 5 days. After that she is completely okay except for stomach ache and farting issues. She is on very simple home cooked food since then. She has been given cefixime, benezyme, enterogermina, junior lanzol and lately rantac for stomach ache by pediatrician. Also given Bandy one dose and another to be given after 15 days. Somedays she still gets pain and a lot of farting. She feels too full with little intake of food. She is energetic and playful and no other complains. She pees normally, sleeps well. But for instance today she is farting abnormally more. What could be the reason? What will be the solution?

Can I chew tobacco while Rabies vaccine going on is there any harm or it will affect the efficiency of the vaccine??? Please doctor reply my question.

My son was 18 months old when he was prescribed with 2 ml of Neuromin M Syrup (morning and evening) for 2 months since he was not walking/ standing without support. He is now 20 months old and has began to stand and walk well without any support. Since 2 months is over, can I discontinue giving him Neuromin M Syrup. I m unable to consult my pediatrician since she has gone overseas due to personal reasons. Could someone please help me in this?

My baby is 4 months old ... After taking polio drops he has slight fever ... Is it common ? Can I give paracetamol drops for the same ?

My son is 2 years old. Government is giving OPV today to below 5 years child as a part of polio vaccine program. If we can't give OPV today, is it possible to give similar OPV  to my 2 years child in private hospital? Please guide.

Hello Sir/Ma'am, My 6yr old son swallowed Rs. 1 coin 6 days back, we have done X-Ray, but coin is still downwards lungs. He is absolutely fine, no symptom of pain, fever, breathing issue. please help what to do in this situation. THANKS & Regards

Hi, My son is 2 years old. We gave following polio vaccine to him. OPV 0 - At birth IPV 1- 6 week IPV 2- 10 week IPV 3- 14 week IPV B1 - 18 months IPV B2 is planned at the age of 4-6 years. Government person came to home to give OPV below 5 years age child as a part of polio vaccine program. There is no OPV/IPV in vaccine schedule at this age.Do we need to give OPV or is it optional for 2 years child ? Please suggest.
