My child was only given OPV during his vaccination schedule due to IPV SHORTAGE He will complete 6 years in few months Can I give him IPV VACCINATIONs now Is it advised and will there be any side effects. What are the risk of giving it now..

Hi, My husband tested positive corona but i n my kid were negative day before yesterday. Today my 1 yr old son vomited and after that seems to have some temperature. Is there a possibility he too is positive i mean he is just 1 year old. Or thia could be some season change fever or something. Till afternoon he was fine. Hi My doc is advising to take IPV booster for my child who is 5year 8 months ,In his first year he received 2 booster however since I have shifted to another city the doc here is saying there is no point in giving IPV after 5 years of age. So kindly advise if it should be taken as a third dose after 5 or not.
