Child Health Issues

Hello Doctor, My baby is 11 days old, born at 34 weeks + 3 days (late preterm). During the daytime he feeds reasonably well, but at night he becomes extremely sleepy and it is very difficult to wake him up for feeds. The pediatrician has advised feeding every 2 hours, but practically this becomes challenging because he does not wake up on his own at night and remains very drowsy. We have already tried common stimulation methods like sole rubbing, diaper changing, undressing slightly, and gentle handling, but they work only briefly or not at all. My questions are: Is this level of sleepiness at night normal for a late-preterm baby? How critical is it to strictly maintain 2-hourly feeds at night in such babies? Are there any safe and simple techniques to help wake him adequately for feeds? At what point should this kind of sleepiness be considered a warning sign requiring evaluation?

After 72 hour of birth, Red spots Spread entire body below chest, And eye minor and not feeding enough but feed every 1/2 hour. is it symptoms of jaundice?

My daughter was 23kg 7.1 yr .she had vomiting 2 times 5 days back just with one episode of vomiting she lost 2kg .it's been 5days she is eating properly still she is not regaining her weight looks skiny .how long does it take to regain weight.can kid loose 2kg with just one or 2time vomitting

Hi All, My baby boy is 2 year 5 months old and his current height is 86.5 cm. Is the height normal as per the age or all a lower side ?? His birth height was 48 cm. Please suggest..!!

My 4.5 years old son had issues with concentration. He learned counting and Abcd when he was just 2 years old. But he wasn't responding on other talks until 3 years. While he was more concentrated on self activities such as building blocks. Now in last 6-8 months, he progressed a lot and he respond to lot of instructions, his memory is very sharp and can repeat many english poems and complete Sanskrit mantras, however, during this time he has become hyperactive, stubborn for going outside still doesn't communicate in sentences or words though he understand what i am telling him, doesn't do simple things. Earlier he was very interested in drawing and sketches but now he doesn't focus on that as well, he would break color pens and pull out what's inside that pen and paint walls and cloths. While in the school he remains very calm, doesn't interact much with other kids and doesn't do social activities but when comes at home he does opposite. I live in Jammu, J&k, looking for suggestions.
