Chest & Breathing Problems

I had high esionophils count (10.5%), so my general doctor asked to do a chest xray, it impressioned COPD but i hardly smoke ever. So I consulted a pulmonologist, he asked to do a PFT, i have done it, attached the reports. M really worried if it is copd or asthma. I have cough sometimes very slight phlegm comes up, i had a history of year back when i felt a little shortness of breath while sleeping(i mean i will hard inhale many times), but it went away in a day or 2. Never happened again. No other symptoms. Also this cough started mostly after march 1 when i had a throat infection, i ate a lot of antibiotics and it slowly reduced, i had taken ab phyllin too. Now its normal i cough occasionally in a day. My esionophils: 10.5%, ige serum/: 400+. My mother 60+, has asthmatic tendency. So please help me if this is copd or asthma, and is it reversible? M really scared. And if asthma what to do next. I dont smoke or drink or exposed to any chemical area...

Sir, My mother got infected with covid on April 16th and got admitted in COVID hospital for further treatment .After 45 days of treatment and observations she was discharged by them.Now she is at home treatment with 24hrs oxygen support and is at 2 to 3 ltr oxygen with saturation at 95 to 98. But when we remove the oxygen mask or nasal canula ,her saturation drops to 78 and below within 5 mins.Her saturation never remains at a stable value.She neither have any fever,cough or cold . Doctors told us during discharge that at home environment she will recover soon but we don't find any visual improvement. Can you please guide us what should be our next action plan? How to make her independent of oxygen support?How to improve her oxygen saturation without any external support?

Post covid I am facing respiratory problem few times.. And heart beat is increasing after brisk walk.. Please guide sir

Hello All I had covid and started 18 days back with diarrhea,Body pain, fever and cold initially. My RT Pcr came out negative whereas blood tests like D Dimer and CRP showed elevation in second week. On 9th day because of fever and extreme dehydration took CT N came out negative but chest cold continued with Nasal Block.. Today my oxygen dropped to 92, 84 few seconds n developed breathlessness due to that.. rushed to hospital n took CT again for admission turned out negative n when checked for O2 that time it was 97.. Need your expert opinions on next further steps.. Currently am taking medicines as prescribed 1. Sompraz D Capsule 1-0-0 2. Pulmoclear 1-0-1 3. Montair 0-0-1 4. Foracort Inhaler 2 Puff 2-0-2 5. Duanose Nasal Spray 2-0-2 Along with this vitamin D, Vitamin C.. Also took ECG last week n it was Normal..

Sir two months before I drunk alcohol and slept and morning I got fast twitches in left chest from that I have left chest discomfort abnormal beat in chest pain and tightness my chest X-ray are normal now having fast palpation in vocal cord??

Hello doctor, I had covid on 24h April 2021.  I completed my isolation and recovered. I took a CT scan on 18th May 2021 the score was 2/40 and  CBC, dimer and CRP test were normal On June 01st I felt feverish but not fever it's was lik 98.5 -99.5, sometime I feel some mild chest pain so I took ecg, doctor said ecg was normal but take dolo 650. Just want to check if my chest xray reports are normal or anything to be concerned about? I don't smoke.

Hi i am covid positive recovered patient tested positive on april 16 and again tested negative on 25 april . Till date i have completed 45 days so can i take vaccination now Please suggest me .

From 2 weeks when I press on upper right ribs feels dull pain and after walking or running feels more dull pain after press that region and feel little tender this area. When I rest feel no pain but activiry triggers pain I have done chest x ray but its normal.please suggest for this

My wife is suffering breathing problem since 2020 sept. Last time in april we have visited Apollo main hospital and diagnosed by a well known doctors.And result the disease is allergic rhino bronchitis.From april medication is given for 0ne month and inhaler to be taken about six month. My question is it completely curable the above mentioned disease.she is not completely feel comfortable.

Hi I was covid positive 10 days before now I am ok... I just had few medicines from government hospital and got alright, I was at home only, I had dolo, doxy, ivermectin and azitral for 5 days and I was ok.. So when can I take first dose of vaccine covishield as I have to go abroad soon
