Dry cough and breathing problem

I'm 19 yrs old. I'm having dry cough from almost 3 months, have consulted a physician and taken meditation multiple times but the problem is not completely gone. I feel stickyness in throat all time, mainly after having food and feel irritation in throat. I even experience shortness of breath and feel the need to take long breaths, twice or thrice in a year from last 2 years, it mostly persist for about 7 to 8 days and gets normal by itself. What might be the reason of this problem, is it serious? What should i do and which specialist should i consult?

Covid Vaccine

I wanted to vaccinate my wife for covid, She is  currently taking for last 3 years with Prolomet XL50 for HT and Thyronorm 25 mcg for Thyroid for last 5 years. 2 months back I have been tested positive and was in quarantine and RTPCR was negative later 10days. My wife was not initially having cough and shortness of breath which was sufficed for last 2 months, we have not done RTPCR for my wife at that time when I tested positive. Post 1.5months we have consulted for the above reasons doctor prescribed test for Inflammatory markers and CBC Instead RTPCR. All were normal and Thyroid was 13 and V B12 was 150. Doctor given B12 Injection and told to continue Thyronorm. Please advise we need to do RTPCR or not required now before vaccination.
