Itchy Vocal Cord while breathng post run
Hi! I used to smoke 3 to 4 cigarette a day since last 2 year and I stopped smoking on 19th january after which I got chronic pharyngitis (dryness of throat also) as suggested by ENT Specialist due LPRD and it has almost got better now but still cam see granule on back of throat but dilated vessels have relaxed now. Today I went for running after long time and I ran just for 200 metre and my throat became very very dry suddenly and was not able to swallow ny own saliva dur to excessive dryness and was feeling like black out so I stopped running after that i started feeling breathing trouble and my vocal cord was itchy while I was inhaling and started coughing. It got better within 30 minutes. I used to get breathing trouble when I was 10-12 year old but it was only during season change. What could be the reason? Can it be due to damage done by smoking? Or can it be due to excessive dryness and dry cold air as the air eas actually very dry. What to do to get better? Kindly help please.

Shortness of Breathing (Upper Airway)
Hello Doctor,
For introduction, my name is Mustafa, from Malaysia. For the last 2 years, I've been having difficulty in breathing (shortness of breath) especially when I do something that requires extra energy. And it produces wheezing sounds, and i can feel the wheezing sound and shortness of breathing come from the upper airway. The wheezing sound is more obvious during exhalation. The feeling of tighness at the throat is always there, consistently, either chronic or not.
