I was with a patient who was treated with radioactive iodine for thyroid cancer 5 days before. i spent with the patient 1 hour IN WHICH 10 MINUTES NEAR and also touched the person hands for few minutes .My question is do i have a chance of getting thyroid cancer due to radioactive exposure from the patient .It was post 5 days i met the patient .
