Cancer Care and Treatment

My grandmother has cirrhosis, and according to the doctors, she's in her end stages. She's currently in the hospital and she has hospital-acquired pneumonia. She's turning 80 this year, is there still hope for her? We're willing to do anything. Pls help

As doctor says that she is having ITP and not increasing platlets they r giving steriod and platlets than also no use help me

My Father at age 68 suffering fromCA GE junction..We went through all medicals tests X-ray,CT scan,Endocopy and biospy found Received 6 grey white to grey brown soft tissue bits measures 0.7*0.5cm to 0.5*0.5*0.5cm EP in report Microsocpy:poorly differentiated CA biopsy GEJ We are not getting what stage it is and how to treat this and in which hospital... It is serious or common problem?

My dad swallowed 2% povidine iodine(10ml) ...anything dangerous??? Pls rly fast

I have a small palpable supraclavicular node about 6 mm. It doesn’t feel hard but not soft either . I’ve gotten it checked out and doc says to just keep an eye on it but he doesn’t seem concerned . It’s been there a couple months now . I’m worried because when I search online it says you shouldn’t be able to feel these nodes and if you do it’s most likely cancer :(

I went to get blood drawn for an hiv/syphilis test at 11 30 fri, lab sent the results for both to my dr and 8:30 pm the same day. dr was in the office sat and release the results for the syphilis test online but did not release the results of the hiv test and did not call to tell me results. do most drs call right away if the results for hiv are + or do they do something before calling the patient? also, how long do all these lab tests take the lab to do? would add'l testing take longer than 8 h
