Hereditary component for cancer
Hi, am a 26 yr old female. In my mother's side of family i have a noticed an increased number of cancer patients compared to other families. My grand mother (59- died) had uterine cancer my first cousin( 19-died) had brain tumor my mom's first cousin had (45-died ) blood cancer and another second cousin was diagnosed with colon cancer. It's not the same type of cancer but exept the one with the colon cancer everybody died at young age. Now i have a paranoia about cancer and even if i get a small headache i imagine the worst. Is my fear valid ? Is there any genetic component that can cause diff kind if cancers or is this just an unfortunate coincidence?

Rectal bleeding or blood in my stool.
Hi Doctor,
This is Vinod, age 31, Constantly sitting on bed and working on laptop. Recently I am observing blood coming from stool since 4 days. The blood is like fresh and red. I am feeling that my bowel doesn't empty completely. I feel stomach discomfort but no pain. My rectal entrance got bit injured due to stool like stone. Does it cause continuous blood out for some days when I go for motion? Or Do I need to suspect that a colan cancer?
Please suggest me to get my stomach free motion and no blood in stool.
Regards,
Vinod

Adenocarcinoma (Colorectal) Stage4
My mother is undergoing chemotherapy (6 cycles complete) and targeted therapy (3 doses complete). During her 6th cycle, she experienced extreme pain due to constipation which wad relieved after enema and NS. But the mild pain continued even after stool passage. After the completion of 6th cycle, she again experienced constipation and with the immense pain this time. Though she is getting the flatus. We headed to emergency at Hospital, and they gave enema but she didn't get stool. Doctors have asked to keep her on liquid diet mentioning that there is no blockage in large intestine but small intestine which can only be relieved after high consumption of fluids.
I would like to ask that how I can relieve her pain. Pain is in batches, when occurs its intolerable otherwise she is fine. Also she has not passed stool yet. Please help.
She is diabetic too.
