Seizures after cesarean
My wife had repeated seizures (Jaw locking & rapid limb movements) 1.5 hrs after the cesarean delivery (17 Jul,2016). There is no history of epilepsy for her & near family. vitals were normal after delivery & sugar was 70. She was on general anaesthesia. She was kept in observation for 2 day & was stable. There is no observation of seizures after that incident. MRI (on 26 Jul) & EEG (on 16 Aug) show no abnormality. She is on Emelevo 500mg (B/D). Doctor has suggested to follow up after 3 months for evaluation. I am concerned if it is related to Epilepsy or any other problem? Should I expect any possibility of seizures or Fits in future as we live alone & I work from 9-6? Is this medication recommended for feeding mothers or should I switch to Formula Milk?

Juv myoclonic epilepsy
Hello. I have been diagnosed with juvinile myoclonic epilepsy since last 15 years. Previously i took sodium valproate 1000 mg, but the medication was changed to levetiracetam 500 mg in 2013. I have felt changes in my behavior, life style and psychology ever since i took levetiracetam. Positive side was that there were no attacks. But now its costing me too much. I have headaches, twichings, fuzzy head, i am forgetting a lot of things like my education, college and school life. I talk in my sleep. I am inclined to short temper and cry. I am also getting very lethargic, which is effecting my performance at work place. What shall I do? Do i need to consult neurologist again? Shall i consult a psychiatrist also?

Simple Febrile Seizure
2 months back, my daughter got gastroenteritis and her temperature reached 104. During this time, she experienced a simple febrile seizure, during which she did not respond for almost a minute and passed urine. But after that she was perfectly fine.
Her pediatrician has prescribed her Frisium 5mg 1/2 -0-1 whenever she gets fever for 3 days. Last week she got fever due to viral infection and we started giving her Frisium along with paracetamol.
Need your advice in understanding if this dosage of Frisium is ok for 2.5 year old weighing 14 kgs. Also is there any side effect on giving this tablet.
After I stopped this tablet, I observed she had some very short involuntary movement in her fingers and hand when she was asleep. Need to understand if this is common in kids or should I be concerned on this or am I extra cautious in observing her now. I am really worried. Please help.
She is normal in her development and is also very intelligent and learns quickly.
