Hi my father 59 year old. He has knee pain since 3 months and he has done his required sitting of physiotherapy. His pain is not completely treated. Now the doctor has adviced to take few cycles of injections in the knee. Will this treatment be painful? will there be relief after the treatment.

Pain below knee in right leg. Unable to walk without walker. X ray done is attached herewith. When I walk then only it is paining.In sitting there is no pain.
