Upper jaw RCT Crown fell

The tooth that had undergone Root Canal Treatment some time (few months) is bare now. The cap just fell off while I was chewing a chewing gum. Could anyone recommend how mandatory it is to get it capped again? Also...since the cap was specifically designed for this tooth, it should be still re-usable, right?
