Near wisdom tooth on my left side of my mouth will paining and gum will be swollen by last 4 days it was saviour pain so is it necessary to remove that wisdom tooth or any other chances

Hi My child fell down while playing and one teeth broken from the root and dentist prescribed monocef n ibugesic kid twice a day for 3days. From 2nd day onwards she is getting high fever >102°F at night only. After giving mefenamic acid suspension it is coming down. I would like to know is it because of damage occurred to teeth or some other infection is the cause for high fever. Thank you
