I am 25 years old male. For some days i have seen that my stool is different colour. It has bright yellow on one side and dark brown on another side( not black). No other problem. Appetite is good. Is it normal or something serious?

I had underwent a sonography due to stomach pain and nausea. Reports are normal except one sentence - Mild probe tenderness is noted in the right iliac fossa and lower abdomen but no sonographically demonstrable bowel abnormality is seen during this examination (an inflamed appendix sometimes may not be detected on sonography due to surrounding bowel gases, position etc). Just need a clarification on this?
