I was living in hostel for past 6 months...i used indian toilet there...but once i came back home..i started using english toilet..and it have starting paining once i used to do potty...and now there has been blood also in my potty. It's not constipation because i regularly have my potty.

Hi docter, My wife has multiple stone in her gall bladder max size of stone is 11mm. Doctor advised us to go for surgery? The insurance has a waiting period of 2 years for the coverage, it's 1.4 years now and 8 months to go. Can we postponed the laparoscopic surgery for another 8 months, as she doesn't have any side effects right now.

I just completed a 7 day detoxification from alcohol. I have not had a drink nor do I plan to. However, I just received my blood tests results and my ALT is 61 (normal range is 1-33) and my AST is 69 (normal range is 14-34). Is this a death sentence? Or if I continue my sobriety can it go down to a normal range?

Hi, today I woke up with what I thought felt like indigestion. When I went to the loo, my stool was pitch black and thick. I didn't think too much of it and took gaviscon, which has not helped. I've spoken to my mum who is a GP in South Africa and she told me to seek medical advise here as it could be some sort of internal bleeding. This month I've also had an abnormal period for a day in the middle of my cycle which she told me to mention. Can you please advise me?

I get a dull pain in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen about 10-15 minutes after I eat. The pain worsens when I breath in really deep. It is also a pain directly under the very right side of my rib cage. I think that it might have something to do with my gallbladder but I'm not sure.
