I want to remove the scars left by old pimples. There are no pimples now but the dark spots are visible clearly on my face. Any cream which can clear my face ?

Hello my husband got this big heat boil/ insect bite since 5days...it started like small pimple whn he slept on a new place with uncovered pillow . Now it has becom so big with pain almost around neck area . He used mupiricin ointment but no result. Should he start any antibiotic tablets and  which ointment should he use. He tried to squeeze it today lil blood and lil creamy yellowish pus came out but still it's hard inside and not coming out.please help with medicins.
