Is thinning of hair strands also called as Alopecia ? My father had good hair at my age (30 years) and I seem to be losing hair and also my hair strands are so light and everyone notices it clearly. Is it completely curable ?

I want to start a proper skincare routine (both morning and night skincare routine). I have combination skin type. I have looked into many YouTube videos and Instagram posts. They haven't been helpful, rather they are confusing.
