My husband got a small egg-shaped toy stuck in his rectum. it was attached to a cord but it broke off. he tried to remove it digitally, and tried to push it out over toilet, he defecated but did not think toy came out. went to a&e where we waited for 4hours. they did an xray and nothing visible. advised EUA and admitted him. they x-rayed again and still saw nothing. they cancelled the EUA and sent him home. i am concerned wether this is enough investigation? what would be first signs of trouble?
