Please tell me what I do coughing problem and doctor prescribed me this medicine aatach on image but it not working

I was having cough and cold after coming back from shillong it's cold out there I live in Kolkata since then cough started I took antibiotics but all went well but dry cough is not going at all it's been 2 weeks cold cough and dry count is still there no fever .

I am suffering from cold n cough since one week..it goes and then again comes back..my ears are blocked..kindly give suggestions

However, whenever she lie down to sleep, the cough starts again. In a sitting or upright position, there is no cough or little bit. Why is it happening only while lying down? What she can do?
